Suíte orquestral apresentada por primeira vez, como bailado, em 1944.
História:
Num ambiente de boemia, a rainha do baile anima a festa com sua beleza, mocidade e alegria, simbolizando o espírito da valsa. O conquistador, travestido de arlequim, desejoso de aventuras, diverte-se na esperança de uma nova ilusão. Uma florista exibe suas violetas, embriagando o ar com os mesmos desejos de Arlequim e entre ambos nasce uma forte atração. No clímax do romance, Arlequim descobre que a dama era sua fiel companheira. Alucinado, mata-a e , diante de tal tragédia, reconhece que sua loucura não o aliviou, pelo contrário nunca poderá esquece – lá.
As partes da noite da suíte são: Valsa, Noturno, Mazurca, Romança e Galope.

History:
In an atmosphere of bohemia, the prom queen animates the party with her beauty, youth and joy, symbolizing the spirit of the waltz. The conqueror, disguised as a harlequin, eager for adventure, fun in the hope of a new illusion. A florist displays your violets, drunk the air with the same desires of both born between Harlequin and a strong attraction.
